• the clouds today are differetnt. Instead of the dramatic mountains and valleys of fog, perfect little shaped clouds, interspersed with blue, expanding in rays like a perspective drawing

• The sunlight glinting blindingly off the asphalt, so that the shadow if the tree is like a trace of soft pencil, rather than the usual dramatic line

• the deep curve of the road beneath the studio, like a woman's hip, with her back flexed

• the loneliness of the one person, walking on the street

• the starlike shape of cyclamens when viewed from on top
