  • Another bird in the sky today... the cloud looks like a bird with wings outspread
  • Through the cage window, I watch the stormy grey sky. A women is sitting outside, protected by an awning from the rain. The red jelly of the sufganiya glints against the green of the tabletops.

  • The fallen magenta beaugavillia flowers have gathered under the step. The warm ochre of the stone step picks up and emphasizes that intermittant dried flowers scattered in the pile.

  •  The headlights relect of the rainy street like sun relecting off a river in a Vollaton painting.
  • In the rain, the bus is more packed than usual. The yellow bars march down like perspective lines; two teenage girls stnd in mirrored poses, with one knee bent. Their feet cut into the aisle. A flood of light reflecst off the wet floor, turning the boy and his shadow to a silhuette.

  • Through the bus window, a woman who looks like she belongs in another era, sitting incongruisly in a bust stop: heavy fitted Victorian brown coat with a fur collar, topped by a barret with a fur front piece.
