  • The scrim of my latte coffee on the glass, looking like a galaxy or nebula.

  • The yellow pods of the tree have suddenly ripend. some bursting open to reveal deep red berries, like a body revealing its tissues.

The deep drama of the bursting red suddenly made me notice all the more subtle pods and ripening fruit:

  • The dramatic slashing brush-strokes of the brown pods against the backdrop of the bright autumn leaves. Made me think of a medeival Chinese ink painting. all spare, elegant line.

  • The lone brown berries, like two golden pearls between the shell-like yellow and green leaf.

  • The sun, shining through the leaves, haloing them in a perfect, bright contour of light.

And, cheating again:
  • The blue and white hanging floral sheet, perfectly echoing the cloudy blue and white sky.
