• The father in a deep aqua shirt crossing the street ahead of me, his son speeding on a scooter ahead of him. Beneath the oversized black helmet, the aqua stripes on the boy's shirt match his father perfectly.

• A day of yellows: the bright yellow green leaves of the tree in front, against a backdrop of a deep green evergreen, with a bush with small yellow blossoms in the distance; the yellow leaves of the eucalyptus tree against the grey of the sky and the asphalt; the pool of fallen yellow leaves beneath the bright yellow tree, blocking the edge of the deep yellow car; the bright yellow fig leaves outlined against the bright green of the young fir.  

• The cascade of orange, pink and red flowers leading down  to the parked red car

• The old lady sitting on the curb in a bright purple dress, a plastic kerchief protecting her hair. Her eyeglasses are a matching iridescent pink-purple.
• The small grey-blue blanket hanging at the top balcony of the building. Its color picks up the  deep violet grey of the sky.
